Our Beliefs

Our Mission Statement

We the members of Community Presbyterian Church rest upon the Grace of God Through Jesus Christ
who freely died for our sins and was raised so that we will have everlasting life.

God’s Grace calls us to nurture our Christian character.

We must strive to be Christ-like and to develop a view of the world based upon our
Christian faith. In all aspects of our lives we must first and foremost be Christians.

God’s Grace calls us to pursue a life of service.

As a Church and as individuals, we must reach out with loving care to our families,
our Church, and our community, and our world. As disciples of Jesus Christ,
we are compelled to minister to our “neighbor” with love and respect
knowing that we are all created in God’s image.

God’s Grace calls us to proclaim the Good News of God’s Love.

It is our challenge to demonstrate and communicate the teachings of Jesus Christ, for we are “salt and light”
to a world lost in despair. By being a visible presence in our community, people will be drawn to Jesus.

Trusting in God’s Grace and the mercy of His Love, we will grow as children of God.
As we learn to treat our neighbor as ourselves,
We will become a living example of God’s love for the world.
