The Rev. Kenneth J. Macari, a veteran of thirty years of parish service, is the current pastor of Community Presbyterian Church. Prior to his call to Edison, Pastor Ken served for thirteen years in inner-city Philadelphia (his hometown) and for six years in Buffalo, NY. Pastor Ken has a passion for innovative Christ-centered, disciple-building ministries and mission outreach for the increasingly multicultural communities of New Jersey’s Middlesex County through the work of Elizabeth Presbytery as well as through ecumenical endeavors.
In addition to his work as a supervisor for Princeton Seminary students, Rev. Macari is a candidate for the Doctor of Ministry at Gordon- Conwell Theological Seminary in the area of Theological Preaching of the Epistles of Saint Paul.
Pastor Ken is married to Linda, the Senior Employer Services Liaison for DeVry University in North Brunswick, NJ. They have two adult children, Sarah and Peter. Pastor Ken relaxes with reading ancient, medieval and Renaissance biographies, historical mysteries, swing and ballroom dancing, music of all types, golf and internet chess.
